LOST PLANET! X-BOX 360 REVIEW

Lost Planet is pretty complex, so I'm going to give the most simplistic explanation to this adventerous game.

Obviously, you're lost on a planet, but a frozen tundra of one. I got pretty far into the game where you're not only fighting huge alien centipede like bugs that give off thermal energy when you kill them, you at some point have to fight off your own kind.."pirates". With your knowledge of manuvering droid-like machines (like the ones in alien II) to make your way through the snow or barrel off a few at the enemy, you are also on a mission to find out who you and your father were. Of course, witnessing your father die in the first level is no help...but you pass out, random people find you and try help you in exchange for yours.

The storyline is pretty good, the game play is almost flawless, and you can tell Capcom spent a lot of time on this project. Oh, and before I forget there is a time factor very well played into the plot. The only time limit depends completly on your thermal energy...the more your run, the more often you jump, or the more often you stand still your intermal clock(which is displayed at the top left corner of the screen) "tick's" faster and faster. You only die if you exert your self way too much too often without absorbing thermal energy sources around you. Lost Planet is a great buy.
